Dinsdale Contracts was established in 1981 with the purchase of a single six wheeler tipper wagon. The fleet has grown since. The principle has not: material where you need it, when the programme says.
Surfacing lives and dies by its supply chain. Hot asphalt has a working window measured in hours, and a paving crew stood waiting for wagons is the most expensive sight in the industry. Running our own tipper fleet is how we keep our contracts moving, and that same fleet is available for yours.
We move hot tarmac from the plant, planings off site, and sub-base, stone and general aggregates to wherever they are needed, from Cumbria to contracts across the country. Wagons come with experienced drivers who know how to work a live paving site, tip safely and keep to a programme.
For farms, builders and groundworkers, that means one phone call for material supply and delivery: stone for a base, planings for a track, muck away from an excavation. Loads are priced plainly and arrive when agreed.

Can I order a single load?
Yes. One load of stone for a yard is as welcome as a season of contract haulage. You get a plain price for the material and the delivery before anything moves.
Do you haul for other contractors?
Regularly. Our wagons support other surfacing and civils firms when their programmes need capacity, with drivers who already know how a paving site runs.
What can you deliver?
